N&W Capital traces its roots to the 1930s, when the Netjes & Zonen building company was founded, focused on building homes in Nieuwer-Amstel, today's Amstelveen, and its surroundings.

Build, build, build
Alongside subsidised housing, flats, family homes, offices, shopping centres, hotels and restaurants are developed. Dirk Netjes senior is forward-thinking in his way of building, delivering projects faster and more efficiently.
Netjes Group to the third generation
After the death of Dirk Netjes senior the third generation continues the organisation under the Netjes name. Construction activities are wound down; the organisation focuses on managing its own property and operating several hospitality businesses.
N&W Capital founded
From within the Netjes Group, the Netjes-Specht branch founds a new organisation with the family capital in 2023, in memory of Dirk Netjes senior: N&W Capital. The name refers to the two families, Neat and Woodpecker. N&W Capital broadens its horizon: a different view of real estate, and opportunities across markets.
A European platform
From the Netherlands across borders, and onward across Europe. The same conviction as in the 1930s: build first, harvest later.
